Flexible Hoses in Engine Compartment - Installation

Applicability: Models MS880B, MS885, MS892A, MS893A, MS894A.

 

Requirement: Modify the fuel system by installing flexible fuel lines between the engine driven pump and the carburettor and in the fuel pressure indicator line, in accordance with Rallye SB No. 56 Part 2 and 3.

 

Note 1: For those aircraft already modified in accordance with AD/MSR/7, further modification of the fuel pressure indicator line is not required.

 

Note 2: Do not use parts of the original copper fuel line as adapters since these are liable to fatigue failure.

 

Compliance: Within 100 hours time in service after 30 March 1973 unless already accomplished.
