Maule M-5 Series Aeroplanes
AD/ML-M5/7 Fuel Crossover Supply Line 9/86 DM
Applicability: All model M-5-220C S/No 5001C to 5057C, M-5-210C S/No 6001C to 6206C, M-5- 235C S/No 7001C to 7045C 7047C to 7052C, M-5-180C S/No 8001C to 8014C
8016C to 8019C and 8021C and any model retrofitted with 20`/40` flap ratchet in accordance with Service Letters Numbers 44,46,48 or 49.
Requirement: Inspect and modify in accordance with Maule SB No. 7. Compliance: Within 10 hours time in service after 22 August 1986.
Background: There is a possibility that the flap control handle could be pulled against the fuel crossover supply line of those aircraft with front routed fuel lines which may crush the line and restrict fuel flow.
