Rudder Bar - Inspection and Modification 10/82
Applicability: All models with rudder bars which have not been modified in accordance with Maule Aircraft Corporation Service Bulletin No. 2.
Requirement: Inspect and modify the rudder bar in accordance with Maule Aircraft Corporation Service Bulletin No. 2.
Compliance: Within the next 100 hours time in service after 31 October, 1982.
Background: Reinforcement of the rudder bar in accordance with SB No. 2 reduces the possibility of fatigue cracking and will obviate the necessity for the repetitive special inspections previously required.
