Applicability: All M20K series aircraft fitted with Gerdes P/N A-2580 fuel selector valve. Requirement: Unless previously carried out action in accordance with Mooney Aircraft Corporation
Service Bulletin M20-256.

Compliance: Within 50 hours times in service from 1 November 1995.
Background: The manufacturer has advised of a Gerdes selector valve malfunction which could result in an unscheduled landing of the aircraft.
