Empennage Attach Brackets 11/95
Applicability: M20 models with serial numbers as listed in the Requirement Document. Requirement: Action in accordance with Mooney Service Instruction M20-35.
Compliance: Within 100 hours time in service after 30 April 1976.
The Compliance of the initial issue of this Directive remains unchanged. This Amendment is effective from 12 October 1995.
Background: This amendment changes the applicability to refer only to those aircraft affected.
The manufacturer advised that an accumulation of assembly tolerances may result in decreased rigidity of the empennage at the attachment to the tailplane.
