AlliedSignal (Lycoming) Turbine Engines - LTS 101 Series
AD/LTS/3 Power Turbine Governor - Functional Check/Replacement

Applicability: All LTS 101-750C-1 engines with S/N as listed in Requirement Document which have power turbine governors P/N 4-302-024-02 or -02A fitted.
Requirement: 1. Carry out power turbine governor evaluation check in accordance with Lycoming Service Bulletin No. LTS101C-73-20-0058 Rev. 1 paras 2, 3 and 4; or
2. AD/LYC-T/25.
Compliance: Unless already accomplished: within 100 hours time in service after 31 May 1985, or on the installation of affected engine/power turbine governor or prior to issue of Australian Certificate of Airworthiness.
Background: This directive is issued to ensure the mandatory evaluation of some power turbine governors to verify performance.
