Gates Learjet 35 and 36 Series Aeroplanes

 

AD/LEARJET 35/31 Emergency Brake Handle 2/96

Applicability: Learjet 35-002 through 35-676.

 

Learjet 36-001 through 36-063.

 

Requirement: Modify the emergency brake lever cutout in accordance with Learjet Service Bulletin 35/36-53-9.

 

Compliance: Modify the cutout within 600 hours time in service or one year after 1 February 1996 whichever is the later.

 

Background: It is possible for the pedestal cover assy to interfere with the operation of the emergency brake handle during an emergency braking situation.
