Applicability: All Colonial C-1 and C-2 and Lake LA-4 and LA-4-200 models, prior to S/No. 587 not incorporating Consolidated Aeronautics of SL L-49.

Compliance: Step 1: Before further flight after 17 September 1973.
Step 2: Within 25 hours time in service after 17 September 1973 and thereafter at intervals not exceeding 100 hours time in service.
