Applicability: All models.
Requirement: 1. All unduplicated single-strand wires in elevator and rudder control system shall be replaced with approved flexible cables to an approved scheme.
2. The replacement cables shall be not less than 0.12-in diameter and shall have a minimum strength of 10 cwt.
3. The stiffness of the modified control systems shall be such as to ensure satisfactory flight characteristics.
4. The rudder and elevator control cable systems shall be rigged to a tension not less than 35 or more than 45 pounds.
