Amdt 2


Second Stage Fan Blades 4/90

 

Applicability: All JT8D engines incorporating 2nd stage fan blades P/N 433802, 645902, 759902, 695932, 678102, 746402 or blade assemblies P/N 645732, 759922, 676222, 745532.

 

Requirement: Inspect second stage fan blade root attachments for cracking in accordance with PWA ASB No 5729 Rev 2, or as agreed by the Authority.

 

Note: FAA AD 87-14-01 R1 refers.

 

Compliance: Prior to 10,000 cycles since new or since compliance with Amendment 1 of this Directive, and thereafter at intervals not to exceed 10,000 cycles.
