SCHEDULE OF AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES

 


AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

For the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below issues the following Airworthiness Directive (AD) under subregulation 39.1 (1) of CASR 1998. The AD requires that the action set out in the requirement section (being action that the delegate considers necessary to correct the unsafe condition) be taken in relation to the aircraft or aeronautical product mentioned in the applicability section: (a) in the circumstances mentioned in the requirement section; and (b) in accordance with the instructions set out in the requirement section; and (c) at the time mentioned in the compliance section.


 

British Aerospace BAe 3100 (Jetstream) Series Aeroplanes

 

AD/JETSTREAM/99 Revised Airworthiness Limitations 13/2004

 

Applicability: All Model Jetstream Series 3200 aircraft.

 

Requirement: Comply with the requirements of BAE Jetstream Series 3200 Aircraft Maintenance Manual, Chapter 05-10-05, Airworthiness Limitations Description and Operations Section, Revision 14, or later EASA approved revision.

 

Only the structural fatigue tasks are mandated by this Directive. The following tasks are not addressed by this Directive:

 

All the tasks recorded in Tables No. 2, 4, 5, and 8; together with Table No. 3 - task 27-70-000, Gust lock system.

Compliance: From the effective date of this Directive.

 

This Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 23 December 2004.

 

Background: The Airworthiness Limitations Section of the Aircraft Maintenance Manual applicable to the Jetstream 3200 has been revised. Some retirement lives have been amended and new lives introduced. Compliance with these requirements is necessary for continuing airworthiness.
