AD/JETSTREAM/68 Wings - Lower Surface at Landing Gear Bay

Applicability: All Jetstream 3200 Aircraft.
Requirement: Inspect, using high frequency eddy current, the wing lower surface skin at the outboard end of the main landing gear bay for fatigue cracking in accordance with British Aerospace SB 57-JA 930640 Revision 1 Appendix A.
Compliance: Initial inspection before 10000 landings or within 600 landings from 15 September 1994 whichever occurs last. Repeat inspections at 10000 landing intervals.

Background: Fatigue testing has shown a need to inspect the wing lower surface for cracking.
