Israel Aircraft Industries 1123 and 1124 (Westwind) Series Aeroplanes

 

AD/IAI-W/10 Emergency Lighting System 8/85

Applicability: As detailed in Requirement Document.

 

Requirement: Inspect and Modify the emergency lighting system components according to Accomplishment Instructions Parts 1 and 2 contained in IAI Westwind S.B. 1124-33-010.

 

Compliance: Within 150 hours time in service after 31 August 1985. Background: The aircraft manufacturer advises that:

a)        the inertial switch may not be aligned with the longitudinal axis of the aircraft; and

 

b)        the possibility exists for an inadvertent battery pack short circuit to surrounding structure.
