Israel Aircraft Industries 1125 (Astra) Series Aeroplanes

 

AD/IAI-A/2 Aileron Autopilot Servo  1/2000 DM

Applicability: Models 1125 and Astra SPX aeroplanes with serial numbers 030 and 042 to 086 inclusive.

 

Requirement: 1. Check the attachment arm position of the SVO-85C autopilot aileron servo actuator.

 

2.    If the position of the arm is found to be incorrect during the Requirement 1 check, inspect the arm, control link and bellcrank for damage and, if necessary, repair or replace the damaged parts.

 

3.    Install a stopper angle.

 

Note 1: All actions are to be completed in accordance with Astra Alert Service Bulletin No 1125-27A-157.

Compliance: 1. Within 50 hours time in service from 8 December 1999.

 

2.    Before further flight following the Requirement 1 inspection.

This Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 8 December 1999.
