Applicability: All model 369D, 369E, 369F and 369FF helicopters.
- Fitted with Part Number 369D25100-BSC, 501 or 503 main transmission assemblies.
2. All spare Part Number 369D25100-BSC, 501 or 503 main transmission assemblies and Part Number 369D25132- BSC or -5 main transmission output shaft assemblies.
Requirement: Action in accordance with McDonnell Douglas SIN 148.1, EN-36.1 and FN-25.1 as applicable.
Note: FAA AD 87-18-12 refers.
Compliance: For Helicopters:
Within 100 hours time in service after 10 March 1988 and thereafter at intervals not exceeding 300 hours time in service, or at any time the conditions listed in the “Time of Compliance” section of the Requirement Document occur.
Note: Compliance with AD/HU 369/69 will satisfy the 100 hourly periodic inspection requirements of this Directive.
Spare Parts:
Before installation on a helicopter after 10 March 1988.
Background: Due to the manufacturer extending the output shaft part number range, this Directive has been amended to include the additional items requiring inspection for possible cracks in the main rotor transmission output shaft assembly upper and lower disc surface.
