McDonnell Douglas (Hughes) and Kawasaki 369 Series Helicopters

 

AD/HU 369/65 Fargo Auxiliary Fuel Tanks 5/86

Applicability: 1. All Model 369D, 369E, 369FF, fitted with Fargo Auxiliary Fuel Tank Pt No AW1066-1082 serial Nos 101 to 220.

 

2. All spares held in stock.

 

Requirement: Action in accordance with McDonnell Douglas SIN No DN138, EN26, FN14 and Fargo Service Notice No. 2 Revision 1.

 

Compliance: 1. Before further flight after 31 May 1986.

 

2. Before installation of tank in an aircraft.

 

Background: Leaks have been reported in Fargo Auxiliary Fuel Tanks due to improper distribution of clamping stresses during fitment causing cracks to develop.
