AD/HU 269/87 Tail Rotor Attachment Area 10/87
Applicability: All model 269C fitted with tailboom P/N 269A2320, and S/Nos S001 to S171. Requirement: Action in accordance with Schweizer SIN N-200.
Compliance: Within 100 hours time in service after 30 September 1987 or at the next scheduled inspection for Maintenance Release issue after 30 September 1987, whichever is later.
Background: A tail rotor drive shaft disengagement has revealed the possibility of an error in the location of five tail boom bolt holes at boom station 283.06. This could result in misalignment between the tail rotor drive shaft and the drive spline.
