AD/HU 269/86 Belt Drive Upper Pulley Assembly 9/87

Applicability: All model 269C helicopters S/N 1166 to 1259 inclusive.
Requirement: Action in accordance with Schweizer Service Information Notice No. N-209.
Compliance: At next 100 hourly inspection after 31 July 1987 or within 3 months time in service after 30 June 1987 whichever occurs first.
Background: A possibility exists that the forward and aft pulley assy bearing end caps may have the oil retainers installed backwards. This could lead to excessive bearing wear due to the inadequate supply of lubricating oil.
