AD/HU 269/80 Throttle and Governor Control Cable Assemblies 6/86
Applicability: All model 269 Helicopters.
Requirement: Action in accordance with Schweizer Service Information No. N196. Compliance: Part 1 of Requirement Document: within 100 hours time in service after 30 June
1986.
For spares: before installation in an aircraft.
Part 2 of Requirement Document: within 100 hours time in service after 30 June 1986 and thereafter at intervals not exceeding 100 hours time in service.
Background: Reports indicate that the throttle cables and governor control cables manufactured by Cablecraft may have a manufacturing defect, wear and/or handling damage which may result in malfunction of the suspect cables.
