Main Rotor Drive Shaft 11/87
Applicability: All model 269C Helicopters fitted with main rotor drive shafts Serial Nos. 6570,6573, 6574, 6575, 6604, 6616, 6617, 6622, 6623, 6624, 6625, 6641, 6642, 6643 and 6644.
Requirement: Action in accordance with Schweizer Service Information No. N199-1. Compliance: At the next 300, 400, 600 or 1200 hour inspection, whichever comes first after
30 June 1986.
Background: The heat treatment of the above main rotor drive shafts is suspect. Amendment 1 to this Directive references Revision 1 to the Requirement Document.
