Aircraft - General

 

AD/GENERAL/46 Placarding of Fuel Quantity Indicators - Modification

Applicability: Aircraft equipped with fuel quantity indicators in which:


1/72

 

(i)       scale errors or ungaugeable quantities of fuel exceed 5 percent of the nominal tank capacity; or

 

(ii)     calibrations are in fractions of tank capacity.

 

Requirement: Aircraft equipped with fuel quantity indicators in which scale errors or ungaugeable quantities of fuel exceed 5 percent of the nominal tank capacity or where calibrations are in fractions of tank capacity, shall display a placard adjacent to each indicator showing the corrected readings at each major graduation.
