AD/GAF-N22/30  Horizontal Stabiliser Control System - Inspection for Wind Gust Damage

Applicability: All models N22 and N24.

Requirement: 1. Inspect the horizontal stabiliser control stops and stop support structure for damage which may have been caused by wind gusts.

 

2. If damage is found proceed with the inspection requirements of GAF Alert SB No. ANMD-27-12.

 

Compliance: Unless already accomplished, before further flight.

 

Background: Wind gusts have caused damage to the lower fork end fitting of the stabiliser operating rod on several aeroplanes.
