AD/G1159/32  Flap, Auxiliary and Thrust Reverser Hydraulic Shut-Off Valves - Inspection and Replacement

Applicability: All models and all shut-off valve assemblies Pt. No. 1159SCH211-7 held as spares. Requirement:               Gulfstream Aerospace Customer Bulletin No. 349.

Compliance: Before further flight after 17 July 1984 perform step 1 of action required in the Requirement Document complying with steps 1A or 1B as applicable.

 

Where step 1C of the Requirement Document is applicable, inspection intervals shall not exceed 7 days.

 

Background:  The manufacturer advises that all combined and auxiliary hydraulic system functions could be lost should the brazing of the solenoids fitted to the shut-off valves fail due to fatigue.
