Fuji FA-200 Series Aeroplanes
AD/FA-200/24 Elevator Torque Tube Corrosion 11/89
Applicability: All FA 200 S/No. 12 and subsequent. Requirement: Action in accordance FHI S.B. 200-009.
Compliance: Within 100 hours time in service after 2 November 1989, or at the next scheduled inspection for issue of Maintenance Release after 2 November 1989 whichever occurs later, and thereafter at intervals not exceeding 5 years.
Background: Corrosion has been found inside elevator torque tubes to a depth that necessitated replacement. Undetected this could lead to tube failure.
