SCHEDULE OF AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

For the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below issues the following Airworthiness Directive (AD) under subregulation 39.1 (1) of CAR 1998. The AD requires that the action set out in the requirement section (being action that the delegate considers necessary to correct the unsafe condition) be taken in relation to the aircraft or aeronautical product mentioned in the applicability section: (a) in the circumstances mentioned in the requirement section; and (b) in accordance with the instructions set out in the requirement section; and (c) at the time mentioned in the compliance section.

Fokker F100 (F28 Mk 100) Series Aeroplanes

AD/F100/46 Replaceable Frame Strut Attachment Bolts 8/2001

Applicability:  All Model F.28 Mk. 0100 and Mk. 0070 aircraft. Requirement: Action in accordance with RLD AD 2001-055.

Note: Fokker Service Bulletin F100-53-096, dated 11 April 2001, refers.

Compliance: Before 20 July 2002.

This Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 9 August 2001.

Background: A Fokker 70/100 operator reported excessive movement of an airframe strut on the left hand side of the fuselage at station 22706. This strut is the connection between the floor beams and the fuselage frame and is designed to be replaceable. This Directive requires a one-time inspection for missing bolts in the replaceable frame struts.
