Enstrom F-28 Series Helicopters

 

AD/ENST 28/6 Pre-Certification Requirements - Modifications 1/75

Applicability: All model F28A.

 

Requirement: Modify the aircraft in accordance with the requirements of ANO 101.24 in respect of the following:

 

  1. (a) Install fuelling equipment bonding points at each fuel filling point.

 

(b) Identify an external earthing point, for the attachment of ground connections on each landing gear assembly.

 

2.    Install a safety harness and inertia reel for each pilot’s seat and a lap belt for the centre seat position in accordance with a scheme approved by the Secretary.

 

3.    Replace the flexible hose assembly (P/No. 75386) from the fuel servo to the flow divider with a hose assembly meeting the fire resistance standards of FAA TSO C53B Type C or D or render it fire resistant to that standard by fitting an approved fire sleeve.

 

4.    Ensure that an external power supply with reversed polarity cannot be connected to the aircraft electrical system.
