Enstrom F-28 Series Helicopters

 

AD/ENST 28/18 Alternator Field Cable Protection - Modification 12/77

Applicability: All models.

 

Requirement: Install a circuit protective device (i.e. in line fuse or circuit breaker) in the field cable 28-3 (or 28-1 when optional overvoltage relay is fitted) as close as practical to the battery master relay connection.

 

Note: Air Navigation Order 108.32 Appendix 3, Table 6 provides a suitable cable and circuit protector co-ordination chart.

 

Compliance: 1. Before issue of Certificate of Airworthiness on all aircraft certificated after 28 February 1978.
