AD/EMY/27 Aerazur Lifejackets 13/92
Applicability: AERAZUR lifejackets types C10 and 1014 with a date of manufacture between 10 January 1991 and 13 September 1991; identified by the serial number table listed in the Requirement Document.
Requirement: Action in accordance with the technical requirements of DGAC AD 92-051(AB)R1.
Note: AERAZUR SB B.S. GIL.65.001 refers.
Compliance: Unless already accomplished; prior to 31 December 1992.
Background: During an opening test, the opening strap peeled away instead of opening the bag.
This Directive requires a test to determine if the lifejacket pouch needs to be replaced.
