Emergency Equipment

 

AD/EMY/25 Emergency Evacuation Slide 4/92

Applicability: Air Cruisers Co., TSO-C69 Emergency Evacuation Slide Systems P/N D31005-( ), serial numbers 0001 through 0870 and P/N D30543-( ), serial numbers 0001 through 0067, installed on, but not limited to British Aerospace Model BAe-146 series aircraft.

 

Requirement: Replace the inflation cable and reidentify the emergency evacuation slide in accordance with paragraph 2, of the Accomplishment Instructions of Air Cruisers Co Service Bulletin 201-25-13.

 

Note: FAA AD 91-24-07 Amdt 39-8093 refers.

 

Compliance: Prior to 2 July 1992.

 

Background:  The failure of an evacuation slide to properly deploy as a result of an incorrectly routed slide valve release cable, has prompted the issue of this Directive.
