AD/ELECT/47 Propeller De-Ice Terminal Clamp Assembly 1/86
Applicability: B.F. Goodrich propeller de-icer terminal clamp assembly P/No 3E1883-2 fitted to Hartzell HC-B3TN and HC-B4TN series propellers.
Requirement: Inspect the terminal clamp assembly for cracks according to the requirements of B.F. Goodrich SB No E-85-71.
Compliance: Prior to issue of the next maintenance release after 31 January 1986.
Background: Overstressing of the terminal clamp assembly during maintenance may cause cracking around the attachment holes. Complete failure may lead to the separation of the terminal clamp assembly from the propeller with the possibility of striking the aircraft fuselage.
