Dornier DO-27 Series Aeroplanes

 

AD/DO-27/6 Fuel and Oil Hose Assemblies - Inspection NK

Applicability: All Dornier DO-27 series aeroplanes equipped with German Standard LN9226 fuel and oil system hoses that:

 

(a)     have Technochemie end fittings,

 

(b)     were installed or supplied as spares by the Dornier factory between 1 December 1964 and 1 September 1965; and

 

(c)     have not subsequently been returned to Dornier for checking.

 

Requirement: Inspect affected fuel and oil system hose assemblies for internal damage and obstruction of the bore as specified in Dornier TB No. 27-29 Second Edition. German AD No. 65-85 also refers to this subject.

 

Note: Dornier TB No. 28-26A provides information on the means of identification of Technochemie end fittings.

 

Compliance: Installed hoses: Unless already accomplished subsequent to 1 September 1965, within the next 100 hours time in service after 2 November 1967.
