SCHEDULE OF AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
For the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive (AD) AD/DHC-8/88 and issues the following AD under subregulation 39.1 (1) of CASR 1998. The AD requires that the action set out in the requirement section (being action that the delegate considers necessary to correct the unsafe condition) be taken in relation to the aircraft or aeronautical product mentioned in the applicability section: (a) in the circumstances mentioned in the requirement section; and (b) in accordance with the instructions set out in the requirement section; and (c) at the time mentioned in the compliance section.

Flap Drive Actuator - Inspection 13/2003
Applicability: Bombardier DHC-8 aeroplanes, Models 102,103,106,201,202,301,311,314 and 315 with flap drive actuators, Part Number 734181, 734374 or 755216 installed.
Requirement: 1. Revise the approved system of maintenance per Transport Canada AD CF-2002- 26R1, Part A.
2. Carry out inspection and lubrication tasks per Transport Canada AD CF-2002- 26R1, Part B, C and D.
Note: Transport Canada AD CF-2002-26R1refers
Compliance: 1. Within 30 days after the effective date of this Directive.
2. As detailed in the requirement document with a revised effective date of this Directive.
This Amendment becomes effective on 25 December 2003.
Background: This Directive introduces inspection and lubrication tasks for flap drive actuators to prevent an unsafe condition of asymmetric flap extension.
This amendment introduces repetitive inspection and lubrication tasks per the Transport Canada AD.
Original issue of this Directive became effective on 5 September 2002.
