AD/DHC-1/36 Flap Operating Cables 6/95 DM
Applicability: British Aerospace C1 (English production) aircraft.
Requirement: Action in accordance with British Aerospace TNS CT(C1) No.184 Issue 2.

Compliance: Unless already accomplished in the preceding twelve months, within 50 hours time in service after 25 April 1995; thereafter at intervals not exceeding twelve months, or 150 hours time in service, whichever occurs first.
Background: Cases have been reported of failure of the Flap operating cable which in one case led to a flap asymmetry situation during the final phase of landing. Investigation has shown the failures were due to either incorrect rigging of the control cables or inadequate maintenance of the control pulleys.
