AD/DHC-1/11 Elevator Trim Tab Cable - Inspection 12/57
Applicability: All models.
Requirement: Inspect the elevator trim tab cable, P/N C1/CF351A, for fraying, corrosion or excessive wear as follows:
(a) Cables which have been in operation less than 300 hours flying time:
Remove the rear seat and visually inspect that length of cable which passes around the trim tab drum during the full range of tab operation.
(b) Cables which have been in operation for 300 hours or more flying time: Unwrap the cable from the drum and inspect, by flexing, for broken wires and other defects. Pay particular attention to the section of cable which passes over the drum and the area adjacent to the locating peg. or

Compliance: At intervals not exceeding 100 hours time in service.
