AD/DC3/19 Aileron Trim Tab Control Rod - Inspection NK
Applicability: All models.
Requirement: 1. Inspect the aileron trim tab control rod for signs of chafing due to insufficient clearance at the point where the rod passes through the diagonal stiffening plate between the aileron main spar and the aileron rib.
2. If chafing of the rod has taken place, increase the radius of the hole by the minimum amount necessary to ensure clearance throughout the full movement of the control.
