Applicability: All models fitted with main rotor gear box modified to A.M.S. 07-7149 condition. Requirement: Aerospatiale S.B. 01-13.
Note: Bureau Veritas AD 83-186-18(B) refers. Compliance: Within 25 hours time in service after 30 November 1984 or prior to the main gear box initial installation in an aircraft.
Background: The manufacturer deems it necessary to rework the transmission deck flange, to prevent damage to the drain plug union, which may result in the loss of main gear box oil.
