Applicability: CT7-5A, -5A1, -7, -7A, -7E, -7E1 engines.

Requirement: Action in accordance with Swedish Airworthiness Directive SAD No. 1-003.

Background:  This Directive has been raised to require compliance with General Electric SB (CT7- TP) 72-35R1 and General Electric OEB No. 4 Rev 1. The documents detail modifications to the compressor, adjustment of the engine controls and repetitive inspection procedures which are required following investigation of a series of compressor failures experienced by CT7 engines fitted to SF340 aircraft.
