SCHEDULE OF AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES

 


AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

For the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below issues the following Airworthiness Directive (AD) under subregulation 39.1 (1) of CASR 1998. The AD requires that the action set out in the requirement section (being action that the delegate considers necessary to correct the unsafe condition) be taken in relation to the aircraft or aeronautical product mentioned in the applicability section: (a) in the circumstances mentioned in the requirement section; and (b) in accordance with the instructions set out in the requirement section; and (c) at the time mentioned in the compliance section.


 

Pacific Aerospace Corporation Cresco Series Aeroplanes

 

AD/CRESCO/8 Horizontal Stabiliser Main Spar Top Cap 8/2004

 

Applicability: All Cresco 08-600 aircraft.

 

Requirement: Inspect in accordance with Pacific Aerospace Service Bulletin PACSB/CR/032.

 

If the spar top cap is found cracked, replace the spar cap before further flight.

 

Note: NZ CAA AD DCA/CRESCO/4 refers.

 

Compliance: Unless the initial inspection is already accomplished, inspect at 2,500 hours total time in service or within 100 hours after 5 August 2004, whichever occurs later. Inspect thereafter at intervals not to exceed 100 hours time in service.

 

This Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 5 August 2004.

 

Background: Cracking of a horizontal stabiliser main spar top cap has occurred in service.
