SCHEDULE OF AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES

 


AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE


For the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below issues the following Airworthiness Directive (AD) under subregulation 39.1 (1) of CAR 1998. The AD requires that the action set out in the requirement section (being action that the delegate considers necessary to correct the unsafe condition) be taken in relation to the aircraft or aeronautical product mentioned in the applicability section: (a) in the circumstances mentioned in the requirement section; and (b) in accordance with the instructions set out in the requirement section; and (c) at the time mentioned in the compliance section.

 

Pacific Aerospace Corporation Cresco Series Aeroplanes

 

AD/CRESCO/2 Wing Spar Web 5/2001

 

Applicability:  Cresco 08-600 aircraft in agricultural operations, and not incorporating modification PAC/CR/0317.

 

Requirement: Inspect inner wing main spar webs in accordance with Pacific Aerospace Corporation Service Bulletin PACSB/CR/026, dated 15 December 2000. Accomplish any necessary repairs before further flight in accordance with the Requirement document.

 

Note: New Zealand CAA AD DCA/CRESCO/2 refers.

 

Compliance:  Upon accumulating 3,000 hours total time in service. For aircraft that have exceeded 3,000 hours total time in service, within 150 hours time in service after 17 May 2001, unless already accomplished.

 

This Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 17 May 2001.

 

Background: The NZ CAA requires inspection of inner wing main spar webs for cracking and inspection of inner wing main spar web to spar cap rivets.
