Bombardier (Canadair) CL-600 (Challenger) Series Aeroplanes

 

AD/CL-600/17 Flight Controls - Elevator Cable Inspection 11/88

Applicability: Model CL-600-1A11 (CL-600), Serial Numbers 1004 to 1085. Requirement:  Action in accordance with Canadair SB 600-0522.

Compliance: Within 100 hours time in service after 3 November 1988, or prior to issue of a Certificate of Airworthiness.

 

Background: The possibility exists for fouling between the wiring harness leading to the autopilot pitch servo and the elevator control cables.
