AD/CF6/16 Fuel Manifold Support Bracket 3/91
Applicability: CF6-80C2 Series.
Requirement: Replace fuel manifold systems in accordance with the technical requirements of FAA AD 90-26-01 Amdt 39-6810.
Note: GE SB 73-053 Rev. 3 refers.
Compliance: As specified in the Requirement Document.
Background: The FAA AD was prompted by a fuel manifold found cracked in service within the present life limit. The condition, if not corrected could result in an engine fire and significant aircraft damage.
