AD/CESSNA 550/5 Elevator and Rudder Trim System - Inspection

Applicability: All Models 550 with Unit Nos. 0002 through 0465. Document:  Cessna S.L. No. SL 550-27-6.

Compliance:  Within 100 hours time in service after 30th November 1983 or at the next scheduled inspection for maintenance release issue after 30th November 1983 whichever is the later.

 

Background:  The manufacturer has become aware that some elevator and rudder trim tab stop blocks are incorrectly installed and torqued and also that some of those systems trib tab actuator chain guards are incorrectly installed.
