Cessna 550 (Citation II) Series Aeroplanes

 

AD/CESSNA 550/17

Amdt 1


Fuel Flow Transmitters 5/91

 

Applicability: Citation 500, 551, S550, 560 model aircraft fitted with P/N 9912031-6 fuel flow transmitters.

 

Requirement: Action in accordance with Cessna Alert Service Bulletin; 1. Model 550/551: SBA550-73-3 Rev 3, or

2.    Model S550: SBAS550-73-1 Rev 3, or

 

3.    Model 560: SBA560-73-1 Rev 3 as applicable.

 

Compliance: As detailed in Requirement document but with a revised effectivity date of 16 May 1991 for Australian registered aircraft.

 

Background:  This Directive has been amended to increase the aircraft models applicable, increase the serial number range of affected fuel flow transmitters, and to provide a terminating action. As detailed in the Requirement documents, affected transmitters are to be inspected at repetitive intervals until such time as Ragen Data System Inc. Quality Standard Procedure Instruction Number QSPI 3-36 Revision C has been accomplished.
