Cessna 400 Series Aeroplanes

 

AD/CESSNA 400/104 Elevator Bellcrank Support Structure 5/95

Applicability: Cessna 441 serial numbers 441-0001 to 441-0362 and 441-698.

 

Requirement: Inspect and modify the elevator bellcrank support bracket assembly (P/N 5815146) in accordance with Cessna Service Bulletin (SB) CQB94-2. Inspect using either the fluorescent dye penetrant or the eddy current method in accordance with CAO 108.10 and Cessna SB CQB94-2.

 

Compliance: Inspect and modify before 1200 hours time in service or before 100 hours time in service after 27 April 1995, whichever occurs later.

 

Background: The manufacturer has received reports of cracking in the elevator bellcrank support bracket. An inspection for cracks and installation of a modification are required.
