SCHEDULE OF AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES

 


Cessna 340 Series Aeroplanes

 

AD/CESSNA 340/6 Pre-Certification Requirements - Modification 3/75

Applicability: All models.

 

Requirement: Modify the aircraft in accordance with the requirements of ANO 101.22 in respect of the following:

 

  1. Install placards in the cabin specifying the periods during which smoking is prohibited.

 

2.    Install a placard adjacent to the oxygen system filling valve stating the maximum filling pressure of the system and a caution to keep the valve and its surround clean, dry and free from oil and grease.

 

3.    Install a placard in a prominent position adjacent to the rear left hand seat as follows:

 

“ENSURE THAT THIS SEAT IS LOCKED FULL FORWARD DURING TAKEOFF AND LANDING”,

 

4.    (a) Install fuelling equipment bonding points at each fuel filling point.

 

(b) Install and identify external earthing points for the attachment of ground connections on each main under- carriage assembly or on the nose gear.

 

5.    Modify the power supply system to the turn and bank indicator to give immediate indication of any power loss.
