Applicability: Cessna model T303 with serial numbers T30300001 up to and including T30300315.
Document: FAA Emergency AD 85-23-06 priority letter issued 14 November 1985. Para (a) and (b).
Note: Operators of affected A/C are requested to advise their local Department of Aviation Airworthiness Officers of the results of this inspection.
Compliance: Unless already accomplished within 10 flying hours after 17 December 1985. Background: FAA AD 85-23-06 letter advises that the source of an engine compartment fire of a
Cessna T303 A/C under investigation may be attributed to leaking fuel metering unit
fittings and exhaust gas leakage. This one time inspection is required to ensure integrity of the turbocharger exhaust system and fuel unit fittings.
