AD/CESSNA 210/51 Wing Tip Navigation/Strobe Lights Installed

in Flint Aero Wing Tip Tanks - Inspection and Modification

Applicability: Models 210, D, E, F, T210F with Flight Aero Model FA200 auxiliary wing tip tanks installed per STC SA2617 WE. Models 210G thru T210N with Flint Aero Model FA2100 auxiliary wing tanks installed per STC SA2826 WE.

 

Document: Flint Aero Service Bulletin No. FA1.

 

Compliance: Within 100 hours time in service after 31 July 1981.

 

Background: Due to possible fuel spillage or tank leakage in areas of high voltage or high temperature in the Navigation - Strobe light system, including cables, connectors, high voltage power supply, strobe light and navigation lights, the mandatory inspections and modifications are necessary to ensure separation of ignition sources from potential fuel leakage.
