Cessna 206 Series Aeroplanes

 

AD/CESSNA 206/34 Wing Tip Navigation Strobe Lights 7/81

Applicability: Models 206 through TU206G with Flint Aero Model FA200 auxiliary wing tip tanks installed in accordance with STC SA2479 WE.

 

Requirement: Action in accordance with Flint Aero Service Bulletin No. FA1. Compliance:  Within 100 hours time in service after 31 July 1981.

Background: Due to possible fuel spillage or tank leakage in areas of high voltage or high temperature in the navigation - strobe light system, including cables, connectors, high voltage power supply strobe light and navigation lights, the mandatory inspections and modifications are necessary to ensure separation of ignition sources from potential fuel leakage.
