Amdt 1


Fuselage Lower Longerons 11/86

 

Applicability: All models A188 excluding those with an aircraft serial number with a “T” suffix and those which have been modified in accordance with a scheme approved by the Secretary.

 

Requirement: Inspect the fuselage lower longerons for cracks in the vicinity of the main landing gear supports.

 

Compliance: Within 100 hours time in service for all aeroplanes with more than 1500 hours total time in service and thereafter at intervals not exceeding 500 hours time in service, after 1 September 1971.

 

Background: This amendment distinguishes between the configuration differences of the “Agwagon” and the “Agtruck” aircraft.
