Applicability: All models 182, 182A through 182Q and R182 Series fitted with Leigh Sharc 7 ELT or Dorne & Margolin DME LT6 ELT installed in accordance with Cessna Standard installation drawings (USA installations).
Requirement: Inspect the ELT antenna coaxial connector at the ELT. Ensure that it is securely attached and is spring loaded into the detent position. Coil excess length of ELT antenna cable and secure it so that the connector, if it disengages from the ELT, cannot contact any exposed electrical terminals (e.g. Battery Relay).
